Weather Update: The temperature is declining in practically all the states. Today’s minimum temperature in North West India has a chance of falling by roughly 2 degrees Celsius, according to the meteorological department. In addition, many central Indian states may have a minimum temperature drop of 2 to 4 degrees during the course of the following 4 days. Additionally, in the states of East India, the temperature will also drop.
Over the southern Andaman and Nicobar Islands today, light to moderate rain with a few isolated periods of heavy rain are probable. In addition, Central Maharashtra, Southwest Madhya Pradesh, and the Konkan may see light to moderate rain. South Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala may see light rain.

Delhi
The national capital will experience the beginning of coldwave as the temperature is ready to drop to single digit yet again. IMD has predicted that the sky will be partly cloudy and fog will continue to severly affect the natives. For today, the maximum temperature will be 24 degrees and minimum will be 9 degrees.
Mumbai
The city and its suburbs are likely to remain mostly cloudy with hazy effect taking during the daytime. However, as per the latest weather update, the city will get clearer beginning the next week. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 33 degrees and minimum will be 26 degrees.
Chennai
Chennai will most likely remain sunny throughout the day and only isolated places could be affected by skies. Although, natives must note that rains will return back in the city from Tuesday next week. For today, the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees while the minimum will be 25 degrees.

Kolkata
IMD predicts that Kolkata will remain clear and will be followed by similar weather patterns such as the last few days. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 27 degrees while the minimum will be 15 degrees.

Which state will receive rainfall today?
In several parts of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and North Rajasthan, the cold wave may cause people problems. The minimum and maximum temperatures in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, for today are 8 degrees and 17 degrees, respectively. Manali’s minimum temperature can also drop significantly.
Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal and Kerala & Mahe are predicted to be lashed by scattered rainfall along with thunderstorms.
