Weather Update: After three days of nonstop rain in Delhi-NCR, the Yamuna River’s water level breached the danger mark this morning, September 26. Yamuna’s water level has now risen above the danger line and stands at 204.68 metres.
In the meantime, the IMD has indicated on Sunday that the southwest monsoon is likely to retreat Delhi and the surrounding areas by the weekend (September 30), providing relief to the people after nonstop rains.
Delhi
The sky will remain partly cloudy. However, the city will get a relief from rainfall as the indicators for the same are significantly low. Major parts can also expect proper sunlight through out the day.

Mumbai
There is light possibility of moderate rains in the city and suburbs. The sky will remain partly cloudy, and the climate will remain moderately similar to usual.
Chennai
Some areas of the city will receive light to moderate rains, with the sky condition remaining generally cloudy for the next 24 hours.
North India
States in Northern India, including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Chandigarh, Rajasthan will have a clear sky today. Some parts are likely to receive rainfall today, but, that will remain limited just to showers.
Northeast India
The weather update includes light/moderate rainfall with isolated heavy rainfall and lightning over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, and other sister states.
South India
Scattered rainfall with a clear sky is predicted for Southern Peninsular India in the recent bulletin by IMD.
