Weather Update: The capital city of Delhi is under a yellow alert from the Regional Meteorological Centre due to the ongoing bad weather, which includes lightning and heavy rain. According to the most recent Mumbai weather report, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted moderate rainfall in Mumbai on Thursday. Mumbai’s minimum temperature will be 26 degrees Celsius, and the city’s maximum temperature is predicted to reach 32 degrees Celsius. A yellow alert has been issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) in Mumbai for heavy rain in isolated areas of Raigad, Ratnagiri, Pune, Kolhapur, Satara and Nagpur.

According to IMD, there can be light rain and thunder in the western regions of Madhya Pradesh, which includes the divisions of Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Narmadapuram, Chambal and Ujjain. As per the IMD forecast, Patna and Ranchi can have cloudy sky. However, Ranchi may face few spells of rainfall which can be accompanied by thundershowers. Additionally, the India Meteorological Department predicts that many places of Uttarakhand may continue to see some cloud cover today. In addition to light rain, heavy rains with thunder and lightning are predicted for Dehradun, Tehri, Haridwar, Pauri, Nainital, Champawat, Bageshwar and Udham Singh Nagar. Meanwhile, as per the IMD, Gujarat had intense rainfall that resulted in flash floods in a few areas of the state. Several areas, including Surat, Vadodra and Ahmadabad are vulnerable to moderate to severe flash floods.

According to the India Meteorological Department, there has been severe to extremely heavy rainfall in Saurashtra and Kutch, with isolated areas potentially experiencing extremely heavy precipitation. IMD forecasts heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in South Interior Karnataka, Coastal Odisha, and some other areas. The India Meteorological Department reports that there has been heavy rainfall in some areas of the states like Jharkhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. However, the same has been predicted for Goa, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
