The weather forecasting agency has issued a yellow alert and forecasted further rainfall for Delhi-NCR today. The state’s capital, Lucknow, as well as other isolated areas of heavy rainfall are forecast in Uttar Pradesh, according to the IMD. The weather bulletin predicts mild to moderate rainfall over West and Central India, sporadically to fairly widely. The weather department forecasted that east and northeast India would most likely see pretty widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall.

The state’s capital city, Dehradun, is expected to get mild to moderate rainfall, with isolated areas of heavy rainfall over Uttarakhand predicted by the IMD. The India Meteorological Department reports that there has been heavy rainfall in the states including Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep, Uttarakhand and Uttarakhand.
