The weather forecasting agency has issued a yellow alert and forecasted further rainfall for Delhi-NCR today. The state’s capital, Lucknow, as well as other isolated areas of heavy rainfall are forecast in Uttar Pradesh, according to the IMD. The weather bulletin predicts mild to moderate rainfall over West and Central India, sporadically to fairly widely. The weather department forecasted that east and northeast India would most likely see pretty widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall.

The state’s capital city, Dehradun, is expected to get mild to moderate rainfall, with isolated areas of heavy rainfall over Uttarakhand predicted by the IMD. This monsoon is predicted to bring enough rain, according to an IMD forecast, indicating a better season than typical for Mumbai. The predicted temperature range for Mumbai’s weather today is 27°C at low tide to 31°C at high tide, with an average of about 30°C. According to the Indian Meteorological Department’s (IMD) forecast, there will be patches of cloud cover until the afternoon or evening, and moderate rain is predicted for Mumbai and its suburbs later in the day. IMD also predicts light rainfall in Patna, Bihar.

According to IMD, there is a high probability of heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in several areas of Rajasthan, Karnataka and Kerala. The India Meteorological Department reports that there has been heavy rainfall in the states including Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep, Uttarakhand and Uttarakhand.
