In West Bengal, the lockdown restrictions have been extended till July 15 (West Bengal Lockdown extended). Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee herself gave this information on Monday. She said that permission has been given to open salons, beauty parlors and gyms with certain conditions.
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said, COVID19 restrictions will remain in effect till July 15. Salons, beauty parlors allowed to open from 11 am to 6 pm with 50% seating capacity, provided employees are vaccinated. Apart from this, gyms will be allowed to open with 50% capacity. She said that private and corporate offices can remain open from 10 am to 4 pm with 50% working capacity.
All markets will open from 6:00 am to 12 noon. All other shops will remain open from 11 am to 8 pm. Gyms will be open from 6:00 am to 10:00 am and 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with 50 percent capacity.
Private and government buses can run with 50 percent capacity. Offices will open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm with 50 percent capacity. Banks will open between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Trains are yet to operate in the state.
