West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee alleged that the BJP has contributed to the recent rise of the COVID cases in the state of West Bengal by bringing outsiders.
“They (BJP leaders) have brought outsiders for campaigning and contributed to the rise in COVID cases. We had managed to get hold of the COVID situation, they made it complicated,” Banerjee was quoted as saying by PTI.
The nation reported more than 1 lakh and 84 thousands new cases of COVID-19 in a single day.
“I promise that a permanent political solution to the Gorkha problem will be reached by the double-engine government of the BJP — one at the Centre and the other in Bengal. You will not have to resort to agitations anymore,” PTI quoted him as saying.
Meanwhile, Didi has said nothing to the Congress party, where Rahul Gandhi has organized his first election rally ahead of the fourth elections. Congress, the Left, and ISM will fight the elections in an alliance.
