While trains of the same capacity constructed elsewhere in the world come around Rs 160-180 crore, Vande Bharat trains cost much lesser at Rs 120-130 crore. Continuous Expansion of India’s Railway Network
Indian Railways is not resting on its laurels on the domestic front, expanding continuously from the current achievement. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav announced that the tracks increased more than 31,000 kilometres added in the past decade alone, and stated goal to extend the tracks by another 40,000 kilometers. In addition, the work on the bullet train project is moving along well that is giving a new direction to India about the modernization of transportation infrastructure.
