Following a threat from the Bishnoi gang, Bollywood star Salman Khan was given Y+ security. Amruta Fadnavis, the wife of Maharashtra’s deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, received a similar level of protection. The protection and security department of the Maharashtra Police decided after analyzing a threat perception.
Salman Khan’s security protection had previously been upgraded from X to Y+. This means that at all times, the star will be protected by two armed guards. Additionally, there will always be two guards posted at his home. Salman Khan had received a threat from the Bishnoi gang when the Mumbai police Protection branch made this choice.

Salman Khan was previously guarded by an armed police guard under the X grade of security. Salman Khan received a personal weapon license from the Mumbai Police a few months ago after submitting an application and meeting with the Mumbai Commissioner of Police Vivek Phansalkar.
Now, Salman will always have two professional guards with him, and two guards will keep watch over his house. These guards have received training in crowd control, crowd safety, threat detection, and the use of weapons. Additionally, the local police will be required to give the actor protection coverage wherever he stays anytime he travels outside the boundaries of the state of Maharashtra.
