UP News: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offers prayers at the Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur on the second Monday of the ‘Sawan Month’ . This Year Sawan will last for two months, the auspicious month of Sawan was started on the 4th of July and it will go on till the last of August. Thousands of devotees reached Varanasi, Prayagraj and Haridwar to perform rituals and offer prayers at the Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur.
Devotees seen taking Holy Dips in Religious Places
Devotees seen performing special Pujas on the auspicious day of the ‘Somvati Amavasya’ which falls in the month of Sawan. Large number of devotees reach Prayagraj to take a holy dip in the river. Many devotees also offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple on the second Monday of the month of Sawan.
Monday is dedicated to Bhole Baba
Devotees taking holy dip in the river ganga says that Monday is the day of Bole Baba and worshipping him today brings luck and prosperity, so we have come here today to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva after taking a holy dip in the river ganga.
