UP News: Ayodhya is all set to mark a monumental Deepotsav this Diwali, with 2.5 million lamps illuminating the city and creating a new world record. This year’s celebration holds special significance as it’s the first Diwali after the Ram Mandir’s inauguration earlier in January. The grand ceremony will showcase Ayodhya’s spiritual and cultural heritage, bringing together devotees, locals, and tourists to celebrate the Festival of Lights.

Prime Minister Modi’s “Historic” Diwali Tribute

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised the upcoming Diwali celebrations in Ayodhya, calling them “historic” due to the spiritual significance of lighting up the temple at Lord Ram’s birthplace. In his Diwali message, he emphasized how this year’s festivities are a unique moment in the history of Ayodhya, linking ancient traditions to modern celebrations.

Security Measures and Preparations in Full Swing

To ensure smooth and secure proceedings, security has been significantly increased around the city. With thousands expected to attend, arrangements are in place to manage crowds, while UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to lead the “special aarti” ceremony on the Saryu River banks.
