Best Selling Car In India 2022: The Maruti Suzuki Alto, one of the cheapest cars in the nation, has shot to the top of the sales charts, and it has been extremely popular during the festival season. Yes, the October 2022 auto sales report is here, and the Maruti Suzuki Alto was the best-selling vehicle. In the top 4, this was followed by the Maruti Suzuki WagonR, Swift, and Baleno. Tata Nexon has made a significant jump in sales to pass the most popular SUV, Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
Alto saw bumper sales during the festival season
Maruti Suzuki Alto, one of the top 10 best-selling vehicles in India, sold a total of 21,260 units, representing an annual sales growth of 22%.

Maruti Suzuki WagonR, which had sales of 17,945 units in October of last year and had a growth rate of 45% annually, is the vehicle that comes in second. The Maruti Suzuki Swift, which sold 17,231 units last month and saw an 8% annual growth, is ranked third.
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno, which sold 17,149 units overall last month and saw an annual growth of 10%, was the fourth best-selling vehicle. The fifth best selling car was the Tata Nexon, with a total of 13,767 units sold last month, registering a 36% annual growth rate.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire, with total sales of 12,321 units and a year-over-year growth of 53%, was ranked sixth in the list of top 10 best selling cars for October 2022. It is followed by the well-known small SUV from Hyundai, the Creta, which has sold 11,880 units overall and is growing at an 84 percent rate annually.
Tata Punch, which is ranked eighth on the list, sold 10,982 units in the previous month for a 30% annual increase. With 10,494 units sold and ranking 9 in the top 10, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has experienced a 19% annual decline. The Maruti Suzuki Brezza, which has sold a total of 9,941 units with an annual growth of 24 per cent, is last on the list.
