Optical Illusion: IQ tests can also be performed using optical illusions. Some optical illusions are intended to test our ability to see and solve problems. For instance, certain visual illusions demand that we locate hidden items, recognise patterns, or work out puzzles.
Spotting the Hidden
Here is a black-and-white illustration of a man with a big nose. He has a beard and is looking to the left. Find the three faces buried in this optical illusion of a man. In less than nine seconds, can you find them all? The faces are well-hidden, which makes the optical illusion difficult to understand. Because the faces are not rendered realistically, it is also difficult. Take a close look at the image and search for any odd patterns or features. Make use of your intellect and judgement.
