The Uttar Pradesh Roadways Administration has devised a plan to raise regular, contract and outsourced employees’ honoraria, including dearness allowance, following Diwali. They will also receive a promotion club in addition to this. Over 52,000 workers will gain from this. It is anticipated that the plan will be accepted by November 20. Their pay will rise significantly as a result.
Forward-Thinking Proposals for Honoraria Enhancement
A proposal has been produced and submitted to the government, proposing an 8% increase in contract employees’ honoraria and a 10% increase in regular employees’ honoraria. In addition, a proposal to raise the honorarium of ITI-trained workers in the workshop by 20% has been created. Additionally, plans for the benefit of ACP and departmental advancement at the depot level have been established.
Accrual of Benefits Pending Government Approval
Benefits from the idea will begin to accrue as soon as the Uttar Pradesh government approves it. On Diwali, employees who are outsourced will also receive incentive pay. While outsourced personnel will receive a lump sum payment of Rs 1,800, workshop staff who worked for 11 days from November 10 to November 20 will receive Rs 1,500.Benefits will be paid to 14,000 regular employees, including 6,000 outsourced workers, and 32,000 contract workers.
