This action is a reaction to worries about careless driving, which frequently causes accidents and delays. Authorities intend to increase efficiency and safety on this vital route that connects Delhi and Gurgaon by imposing tougher lane discipline.

An official revealed that anyone found to be in violation of the guidelines will be fined Rs 500. They will be fined Rs 1,500 if they make the same violation again. It has been stated that commercial cars are not allowed to operate in the first two right lanes.

What did the officials say?

DCP (Traffic) Virender Vij said, “Transporters have been informed to instruct their drivers not to use the first two lanes on the right side of the expressway. Anyone violating this rule will be fined.”

The goal of this bold action is to increase safety for all users of this highway while also improving traffic flow and reducing congestion.
