Education News: The Graduate Medical Education Regulation 2023 has been put off by the National Medical Commission  which was laid out recently. The NMC has put out this information on their website released on June 23, which says ‘Guidelines under Graduate Medical Education Regulation2023 have been taken off officially and stands cancelled.

‘Amendments made for better functioning of the Admission Process’

The GMER 2023 has announced the elimination of extra batches for students who failed to qualify their yearly exams. The amendment was made for the smooth running of the admission process and to make sure that only qualified students should take admission in Universities. The admission process will kick off from August 1st and will end by August 30th.

‘No student applications will be accepted beyond 30th Aug’

All the Universities have been strictly informed of not admitting or accepting any student beyond the August 30th deadline. The modified guidelines also suggested changes in the Competency based Medical Education. The changes were also made for the format for depositing admission related queries in Medical exams.
