Andhra Pradesh Employees to Receive 3.64% Dearness Allowance Increase
Let us inform you that the government has agreed to provide its employees with 3.64 percent of their DA. An order has been made for this, and the payment of DA for the period ending on July 1, 2022, has been made public. The Andhra Pradesh government will now get dearness allowance at a rate of 26.39 percent starting on July 1, 2022, according this decree published on October 21, 2023. November will see the addition of the new DA amount to them for this.
Andhra Pradesh Government’s Plan for Releasing DA in Three Installments
Three installments of the sum for the period from July 1, 2022, to October 31, 2023, will be released in GPF. In October, July, and April of 2024, this will be paid. Three equal installments of 90% of the area payment to CPS employees will be paid in April, July, and October of 2024. The administration has made it clear that employees will receive their November salary in addition to their DA. Employees of CPF will receive dearness allowance, with 10% remaining in arrears. This means that the remaining balance due this month must be deposited into the GPF account in three equal payments.
Andhra Pradesh Government Introduces Guaranteed Pension Scheme
The Andhra Pradesh government replaced the previous pension plan with the Guaranteed Pension Scheme. In the most recent assembly session, the government approved the GPS bill. It has been notified that it has given its approval. According to the state government, a top-up sum will be applied to the base income through GPF, covering 50% of it. The money to pay the minimum pension of ₹ 10,000 will be paid from the top up even if the annual amount is sufficient. Here, Andhra Pradesh workers are dissatisfied with this government initiative.
