At about 1:23 pm, the incident was reported at the Casa Aurelia building in Dombivli East’s Phase 2 of the Lodha Palava development. Many individuals witnessed the fire, captured it on camera, and published it on social media, raising concerns among several people.
The fire was caused by a short circuit
According to a Times of India article, a short circuit on the eighth level caused the fire, which spread to several of the building’s units. The report also stated that before the fire got worse, every resident safely left the building. Residents only occupied the third story because it had just been built. However, the fire spread to apartments on the eighth floor. The fire was effectively brought under control by the firefighting teams after several hours of work, and cooling operations are still underway.

According to a fire brigade official who spoke with Times of India, the fire extended to the apartment complex’s duct area, where fibre sheets were put in on each floor. The fire department arrived on the scene with two fire engines. By 2:30 pm, the fire at the incident had been put out. According to the Palava Fire Station, there are currently no confirmed injuries from the event.
