Hyundai Ioniq 5 sales: This electric vehicle crossed the 500 units milestone
Hyundai sells the Ioniq 5 completely knocked down (CKD) in the Indian market. Because it is made locally in India, it is subject to fewer tax obligations, allowing Hyundai to sell it for a competitive price. For instance, the Kia EV6, which is built on the same platform as the Ioniq 5, is offered for sale as a CBU. The identical Kia EV6 model costs Rs. 60.95 lakh, which is Rs. 16 lakh more expensive than the Ioniq 5 since CBU automobiles are subject to higher tax impositions.
