The price of Hyundai Kona Electric starts at Rs. 23.84 Lakh and goes upto Rs. 24.03 Lakh. It incorporates all of the quirky, gas-powered Kona’s qualities, but switches out the four-cylinder, fossil-fuel-burning engine for a lithium-ion battery bank and a permanent-magnet synchronous AC motor.

One-pedal operation is possible thanks to aggressive regenerative braking, which also contributes to the stated 258-mile driving range, one mile shorter than the Bolt EV’s. The driver can change the amount of regen by pulling the paddles behind the steering wheel. The best outlet for home charging is a 240-volt outlet, but the Kona Electric can also be charged at a DC fast-charging station. It can be charged on a 110-volt household outlet.

Hyundai made a nice effort with the Kona Electric to provide an EV at a reasonable price. The Kona Electric has can cover easily for your daily intra-city travels with a range of 452km on a single charge, according to ARAI certification. Additionally, the Kona electric comes with a 100kW DC fast charger, which can charge the SUV up to 80 per cent in just 54 minutes
