IndusInd Bank Innovates, Introduces Platinum RuPay Credit Card with UPI Integration; details

IndusInd Bank: In collaboration with the National Payments Corporation of India, IndusInd Bank unveiled its newest product, the “IndusInd Bank Platinum RuPay Credit Card,” on Tuesday, November 7. (NPCI). Customers will be able to use the RuPay network to conduct both online and offline purchases with this credit card.

Unique UPI Connection

This credit card is unique because of its UPI (Unified Payments Interface) connection. Users can easily make payments by connecting their credit cards to UPI-enabled applications. According to a statement from IndusInd Bank, this integration would also enable customers to accrue points for their UPI transactions. There will be flexibility in how rewards can be used with the credit card. Through “IndusMoments,” users can choose to convert their reward points into statement credit, airmiles, or a variety of voucher choices.

Convenience and Benefits Amalgamation

“Linking UPI to credit card is an amalgamation of convenience and features/benefits, all enhancing customer convenience and payment experience,” stated Soumitra Sen, Head of Consumer Banking and Marketing at IndusInd Bank, in response to the announcement. By providing this service, IndusInd Bank has joined the ranks of financial institutions that already provide the RuPay Credit Card on the UPI platform, including BFSL, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank, Indian Bank, HDFC Bank, Canara Bank, Axis Bank, and Kotak Mahindra Bank.

Seamless Linking Process

Customers are empowered with a credit card management method using RuPay Credit Cards on UPI. Using their registered mobile number, users can link their credit card accounts from their issuing bank and make payments. Payments are made through the process of scanning a UPI QR code, and a UPI PIN is used for transaction authentication.
