Inspirational Stories: Born and reared in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Gaurav Taneja is the son of Yogendra Kumar Taneja, a former bank officer, and Bharti Taneja. After completing his studies at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, the prospective fitness enthusiast enrolled at the prestigious IIT Kharagpur to study civil engineering. Taneja’s love of exercise, gyms, and bodybuilding started in high school when he frequented the gym there daily. Gaurav Taneja received his education at the Dr. Virendra Swarup Education Centre in Kanpur. He choose PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) for intermediate. After completing his intermediate degree, Gaurav Taneja wanted to become a pilot, but his family’s financial predicament made that impossible.
From BITS Pilani to IIT Kharagpur
After that, he registered for engineering classes at BITS Pilani in Dubai. He wanted to attend IIT, India’s top engineering school, but he was not satisfied. He then began studying for the JEE exam, passing it on his first try with a rating of 184. Gaurav Taneja enrolled at IIT Kharagpur in 2004 to pursue a degree in civil engineering. He stopped going to the gym and spent all of his time studying. Gaurav attempted to get an MBA while he was in his final year of engineering, but he didn’t continue because he wasn’t interested in it. He graduated in 2008 after pursuing his love of bodybuilding here.
Gaurav Taneja’s Journey to Becoming a Pilot
After graduating, Gaurav Taneja rekindled his desire to become a pilot. Because no one in his family was a pilot, his father at first opposed him choosing to become a pilot. However, he convinced his father to allow him to pursue his dream of becoming a pilot, and he then left for training in the United States. In 2009, he returned to India and had his foreign private pilot’s licence converted to an Indian private pilot’s certificate, but due to the severe global recession, he was unable to find employment as a pilot. After being unable to get employment as a pilot, Gaurav Taneja decided to settle for a position at Alpha Aviation Group as a flight instructor. His certification as a flight instructor helped him land this job. Gaurav couldn’t go to the gym and pursue his love of bodybuilding while he was working as an instructor since he was constantly looking for a job as a pilot. He was finally hired as a pilot in 2011 and sent to Bengaluru, where he restarted his exercise routine and started regularly to the gym. Then, as a captain, Gaurav Taneja was assigned to Chennai. He started his career with IndiGo before switching to AirAsia.
Gaurav Taneja’s Journey as a Bodybuilding Influencer and Vlogger
In 2012, Gaurav Taneja made a trip to Delhi to see a friend compete in a bodybuilding contest. He was astounded to see thousands of people applauding for his pal. He then made the decision to compete in bodybuilding contests. A year later, in September 2013, Gaurav Taneja won a gold medal in his very first bodybuilding competition. He performed admirably in various bodybuilding competitions over the course of the following two years, winning multiple gold medals. All of this was done while he was a full-time airline pilot. He also obtained certificates in nutrition and personal training. One of Gaurav Taneja’s friends once broadcast a live stream of him working out while he was in a gym on Facebook. Several of his friends like his video. They started requesting more videos from Gaurav Taneja to further clarify the procedure as a result. Then, in an effort to reach as many people as possible, he started frequently posting films to his Facebook page. He launched his FitMuscle TV YouTube channel in 2016, where he posted his fitness-related videos. Gaurav Taneja began uploading fitness videos to his YouTube account, but he soon came to the conclusion that doing so may tyre out his audience. He then launched a second YouTube channel specifically for vlogs.
Gaurav Taneja’s Success with Flying Beast and Rasbhari Ke Papa
He launched his Flying Beast vlogging channel on December 1st, 2017. The vlogs that Gaurav Taneja created got popular among his fans. Then, on July 8, 2020, He launched his live-streaming Rasbhari Ke Papa channel. Sources claim that Ritu Rathee and Gaurav first crossed paths during a quarterly training event hosted by the airlines Ritu worked for. Throughout the training, he served as the captain of the same airline, and after a few conversations, they grew close. Like Gaurav, Ritu is a native of Haryana, and both of them trained as pilots in the US. There, their story began. They were wed on February 5, 2016. Kaira Taneja, a daughter, was born to this couple on May 18, 2018. Gaurav Taneja and his wife made their television debut in February 2022 on the programme Smart Jodi. StarPlus began airing this programme on February 26, 2022. Gaurav Taneja made the decision to pursue a legal career on October 17, 2020, and he began preparing. He was motivated to study law, make a difference in society, and help the country.
