Inspirational Stories: The UPSC test is quite challenging to pass. Therefore, it is highly regarded when a candidate is able to pass on their first try. Anshuman Raj, an IAS official, is one of these administrative officers who, despite enduring challenging circumstances in his personal life, succeeded in the Civil Services on his first attempt. And for that reason, his life is so motivating.
Anshuman’s Inspiring Journey of Perseverance and Ambition
Anshuman has lived a pretty straightforward life since being born in the little Bihar hamlet of Buxor. After finishing his local schooling at Navodaya School, the student graduated from Ranchi after completing his 12th grade. He was forced to study at night under the light of a lamp due to difficult circumstances up until the 10th. Anshuman did not have access to many resources that a typical student would typically have even throughout his graduation. But he was able to finish his studies and get through the obstacles he experienced because of his poverty with the help of his parents’ strong support and his own strong will. He passed the Civil Services exam on his first try because to his effort and determination. He made the choice to prioritise independent study for the administrative services. He achieved success and was chosen for IRS. But he wasn’t content. Anshuman made the decision to retake the UPSC exam in order to pursue his goal of becoming an IAS officer.
Anshuman’s Unwavering Determination to Become an IAS Officer
He took the exam several times in an effort to achieve the desired rating and post, and ultimately his fourth attempt was successful. So, despite succeeding on his first attempt at the Civil Services test, he continued to take exams and learn from his mistakes in order to fulfil his lifelong aim of becoming an IAS official. Anshuman Raj stated that applicants do not have to receive coaching from big cities in his message to IAS hopefuls. By effectively using the internet and placing a priority on consistent self-study, they can succeed at home.
