Ankita Chaudhary’s Inspiring Journey
Many UPSC exam candidates passed on their second or third attempt, while others gained success after a few tries. Ankita Chaudhary’s story is extremely encouraging because she overcome numerous challenges to become an IAS officer. Ankita Choudhary was born in the Meham area of Rohtak, Haryana. She grew up in a humble lower-middle-class family. Satyavan, her father, works as an accountant in a sugar plant. Ankita finished her college studies at Indus Public School in Rohtak. Since she was a child, she has been a strong learner and aspiration for independence and self-sufficiency. Ankita received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Hindu College, Delhi University. After being admitted to the post-graduate programme, she chose to sit the UPSC exam during her graduation.
Ankita Chaudhary’s UPSC Journey from Failure to IAS Success
After receiving her master’s degree from IIT Delhi, she began intensively preparing for the UPSC exams. Ankita took the Civil Services test for the first time in 2017, but she failed. After realising her mistakes, she began preparing to apply for government jobs. Meanwhile, a dreadful event occurred in her family. Ankita suffered a total breakdown after her mother died in a car accident. Her father began to motivate her at this point. He motivated and encouraged her to succeed in life. Ankita Chaudhary retook the UPSC exam in 2018, and her persistence paid off as she was appointed as an IAS officer with an AIR 14.
