Inspirational Stories: Many candidates for the UPSC took the exam after having jobs in the private sector. Today, we’ll tell you about one such girl who, after receiving her master’s degree, opted to apply for the UPSC and went on to work for the Tata Group. With an All India Rank (AIR) of 15, she also passed the exam. Radhika Jha, an IAS, is her name.
Radhika Jha’s Distinguished Civil Service Career
She is an officer from the Uttarakhand cadre’s 2002 batch. In the UPSC exam, she received the 15th All India Rank (AIR). She now serves as the Government of Uttarakhand’s Secretary for Health and Medical Education and Investment Commissioner. She resides in Dehradun, Uttarakhand’s administrative centre.
From LSR to UPSC Success and a Stint at Tata Group
A former student at Delhi’s esteemed Lady Shri Ram College. She received her degree in Psychology. A master’s degree in industrial and organisational psychology was afterwards earned by the IAS official from Delhi University (DU) in 2000. Later, she spent 1.4 years working with Tata Group as a TAS officer. She also took a leave of absence from her job as a civil servant to pursue a degree in public policy at the London School of Economics under the Chevening Scholarship. She doesn’t use social media very often. On her X account, which was originally Twitter, she has 3,563 followers.
