Jeep Avenger SUV: The Jeep Avenger was recently unveiled for international markets as part of Stellantis Group’s plans to launch 100 vehicles by 2030. The Jeep Avenger will be the company’s smallest SUV. Both ICE and all-electric versions will be offered.
Jeep Avenger reservations have started in European markets.
Delivery should begin in the first half of 2023. Although the SUV seems like a good fit for the Indian market, its introduction is not yet confirmed. C3’s engine will go into the Jeep Avenger The 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine from the Citroen C3 sold in India will be used in the Jeep Avenger in order to reduce development and production costs.
Engine
The motor produces 190 Nm of maximum torque at 1,750 rpm and 110 PS of maximum power at 5,500 rpm. The engine is only available in India with a 6-speed manual transmission. An automatic option could be offered for the Jeep Avenger. The 1.2-liter engine in the C3 has a 19.44 km per litre fuel efficiency rating.
Specs
Avenger has a FWD setup and runs on the CMP platform. It has Jeep’s Selec-Terrain system, which includes Eco, Normal, Mud, Sport, and Snow driving modes. Given that the Avenger SUV is only about 4.1 metres long, one can anticipate thrilling performance and agile handling. Creta and Seltos, for example, are about 4.3 metres long in contrast.
Two or four electric motors will be present in the Jeep Avenger’s electric variant. The maximum output is 156 HP. Top-of-the-line cars will have an eAWD system. According to WLTP standards, the range is 340 miles, or about 550 kilometres.
SUV’s charge-range
The actual range, however, will change depending on the driving conditions. With 100 kWh DC fast charging, 80% of the Jeep Avenger eSUV’s charge can be obtained in just 30 minutes. If you think 30 minutes is a bit excessive, the Avenger EV can charge 18 miles (29 km) in just 3 minutes. That will allow you to quickly get home, to work, or anywhere else.
Features of the Jeep Avenger
Both the ICE and all-electric versions of the Jeep Avenger will largely share the same appearance and features. With a slatted grille, top-mounted sleek LED DRLs, chunky bumper, skid plate, noticeable wheel arches, dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels, thick body cladding, and rear door handles mounted on the C-pillar, the SUV has a sporty appearance.
The SUV’s hands-free power liftgate, sporty X-shaped taillamps, and spoiler are located at the back. The Jeep Avenger has two 10.25″ panels in its premium interiors, which feature a full digital interface. It has leatherette seats, a stylish dual-tone dashboard, wireless charging, and a steering wheel covered in leather.
