JMI Admission 2024: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has initiated the registration process for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, requiring candidates to undergo an entrance test for admission. Interested students can complete the online registration on the university’s official website by March 30, 2024. The entrance tests are scheduled to take place from April 25 onwards. It’s noteworthy that the admission test schedule for the PhD program for the session 2024-25 will be announced separately.
Online Registration Details and Guidelines
Prospective applicants can register for admission at JMI through the official website jmicoe.in. Each candidate is permitted to submit only one form for each program or a group of programs (with a combined entrance test). The university emphasizes that submitting multiple forms for the same program may lead to rejection.
Admission Criteria for UG and PG Programs
For most undergraduate and postgraduate programs, JMI will consider Common University Entrance Test (CUET), Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), and other national-level test scores. Online admission forms for courses where tests are conducted by JEE, NATA, CUET will be available ten days after the declaration of results by the respective agencies.
Exceptions to Admission Criteria
Admission to various UG and PG programs offered by different faculties and centers at JMI will be based on merit, determined by the entrance test conducted by the university. Notably, BTech, BArch, BDS, and a few other courses will have different admission criteria.
Selection Process and Interviews
The entrance test will be followed by an interview and/or other components, as determined by the associated department. The university aims to ensure a comprehensive evaluation process for selecting eligible candidates across its diverse range of programs.
