Kia EV9: The EV6 served as Kia’s entry into the electric vehicle market, and the company is currently working on the EV9, a full-size electric SUV. That will be a sizable luxury EV SUV that will be unveiled the following year. The Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), which already supports the EV6 from Kia, would serve as the foundation for the EV9. However, the EV9 would be a legitimate SUV with a 4WD system.
According to these pictures, the EV9 would resemble a large, boxy SUV with some Seltos-like lines. A blanked-off grille and thin LED lighting were among the features teased in an earlier design prototype. Additionally, it will have characteristic EV-like wheels and a sizable dual motor battery setup for a range of at least 500 kilometres. A high-end SUV put above the EV6 would be the EV9.

The interior incorporates many distinctive styling cues, such as a huge 27-inch screen display and a tonne of driver and safety assistance technology. The cabin would also be made of environmentally friendly materials.
Given Kia’s success in India, it could be intriguing to import the EV9 there in a small quantity, similar to how the EV6 was imported. More EV6 units are being allocated after the initial supply of the country’s model sold out.
With these looks and a significant range claim, the EV9 could serve as the country’s second-largest electric vehicle after the EV6. Electric vehicles are slowly gaining popularity in India, especially in the luxury segment.
Kia now plans to debut the updated new Seltos with a number of significant upgrades and exhibit a concept electric car for India. The debut of the new Seltos is anticipated to take place after the 2023 Auto Expo, but a revelation is scheduled for that time.
