Ladli Behna Yojana : In a significant step towards women empowerment and social security, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav initiated the disbursement of funds under various welfare schemes through a single click in a program held at Singrampur, Damoh district.
As part of the state’s flagship Ladli Behna Yojana, financial assistance of ₹1,574 crore was transferred to 1.29 crore women beneficiaries. In addition, under the Social Security Scheme, more than 55 lakh beneficiaries received ₹332.71 crore in financial aid.
Furthermore, as part of the ₹450 Gas Refill Scheme, over 24 lakh women were provided financial assistance amounting to ₹28 crore. The transfer of funds for all these schemes was executed smoothly via a single click on October 5, 2024.
The event highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s ongoing commitment to the empowerment and welfare of women, demonstrating the state’s dedication to ensuring that every woman receives the support and respect she deserves.
Empowering Women Through the Ladli Behna Yojana
The Ladli Behna Yojana, a flagship program of the Madhya Pradesh government, aims to provide financial security to women across the state. By transferring ₹1,574 crore to 1.29 crore women in this installment, the program continues to support women in managing household expenses and improving their quality of life. Social Security for All
In addition to empowering women, the government has prioritized the well-being of over 55 lakh beneficiaries through the Social Security Scheme. With a disbursement of ₹332.71 crore, the scheme is designed to provide financial assistance to the elderly, widows, and other vulnerable groups. The seamless transfer of funds showcases the government’s efforts to ensure social equity and security for all citizens.
Affordable Gas Refill Scheme for Women
Under the ₹450 Gas Refill Scheme, over 24 lakh women received a total of ₹28 crore in financial aid to make LPG refills more affordable. This initiative not only provides relief to women but also promotes cleaner energy and reduces reliance on traditional cooking fuels, aligning with broader environmental goals.
