Lufthansa’s Nonstop Flight Connects Munich to Bengaluru

Bengaluru News

Bengaluru News: On November 3, 2023, the Lufthansa Group launched nonstop flights between Munich, the capital of Bavaria, and Bengaluru, an Indian city. Bengaluru is the third Indian destination that visitors may reach directly through Lufthansa’s five-star Munich hub, after Delhi and Mumbai. Bengaluru, home to over 12 million people, is the third-biggest city in India, a major hub for the information technology sector, and the centre of the aerospace industry. Bengaluru, which lies in the southwest of the subcontinent, is frequently referred to as India’s “Garden City” because of its numerous parks.

Modern Aircraft for Passenger Comfort

Flying on the Airbus A350-900, one of the most fuel-efficient and modern long-haul aircraft, passengers of Lufthansa may enjoy their trip on a convenient three times a week schedule that arrives in Munich at 8:05 on the same day. Passengers travelling on their direct route from India’s “Garden City” to Munich will be provided with native cuisine and catering, just like on all trips to India.

Lufthansa’s Long-Standing Presence in India

The Lufthansa Group has been operating flights between India and Europe on more than 50 weekly frequency for over 90 years. In addition to being the third-largest aviation market in the world at the moment, India has had the fastest GDP growth rate in APAC over the last 12 months. The Lufthansa Group’s capacity to India surpasses pre-COVID levels, and this Munich-Bangalore route demonstrates the airline’s strong commitment to the Indian market.

Lufthansa’s Positive Outlook on India

We have been invested in India for more than 90 years and when looking for our first new APAC destination since the pandemic, Bengaluru was a natural fit.”
