Mahindra Born Electric: Mahindra has always aspired to be a major player in the electric SUV market. We’ve seen numerous teasers, and finally it unveiled its electric SUVs at the Mahindra Born Electric twitter handle.
Mahindra now has two EV product lines
One is the BE (Born Electric) range of electric SUVs, and the other is still known as the XUV. In this light, three Born Electric SUVs stand out as the BE range is currently showcased with three products: BE.05, BE.07, and BE.09. XUV.e8 and XUV.e9 are the other two in the electric XUV range. Because it is based on the XUV700, the XUV.e8 is the more production ready of the two.
Interior Design and Publication: The interiors of the Mahindra XUV were already futuristic and technologically advanced. However, XUV.e8 takes it to a whole new level. The XUV700 has two horizontal screens, whereas the XUV.e8 has three. One is for the driver’s display, and the other is for the central infotainment system.
Because it was only a prototype, the interior finishes were camouflaged. We wish Mahindra included soft-touch plastics with the XUV.e8, as it would make for a much more comfortable cabin. The majority of the XUV700’s features, such as the panoramic sunroof, seating layout, dash layout, and door trims, are likely to remain. The launch date is expected to be around 2024.
Anand Mahindra, Chairman of M&M, promised that the production versions of all the concepts shown yesterday, including the BE and XUV.e products, would be the same. He assured us that what we saw was exactly what we would get. He also revealed that three of the five shown yesterday are already in advanced development, and the other two will be put into action soon.
