Mahindra Thar SUV: Mahindra & Mahindra, the top automaker in the nation, has unveiled the reasonably priced RWD version of its renowned off-road SUV Mahindra Thar. Fans of the Thar breathed a sigh of relief when this new variation was released. But now word is spreading that the business raised it by changing the Thar range’s prices. Mahindra Thar pricing have increased by up to Rs. 1.05 lakh, according to the business. It is said that the revised vehicle’s price has increased as a result of the new Real Driving Emission (RDE) requirements.
Know about the new and old prices
Customers who intend to acquire the LX hard top diesel manual gearbox rear wheel drive (RWD) variant will have an unpleasant surprise. This variant’s pricing has been raised to Rs 1.05 lakh. The AXE (O) hard top diesel manual gearbox rear wheel drive (RWD) variant’s price has increased concurrently by Rs 55,000, while all other variants have experienced an equal increase of Rs 28,200.
Here are the variant wise prices
The Mahindra Thar range now has a starting price of Rs. 10.54 lakhs for the AXE (O) diesel RWD variant and Rs. 14.49 lakhs for the AXE (O) diesel 4WD trim as a result of the price hike. While the LX range’s starting price is Rs. 12.04 lakhs. While the LX diesel automatic 4WD variant will cost Rs 16.77 lakh. These prices are all listed as “ex-showroom.”
New affordable Mahindra Thar SUV is coming
The business intends to release a less expensive Thar model with a four-wheel drive (4×4) drivetrain. Currently, the Mahindra Thar is available in two broad trims: AX(O) and LX, each with a choice of two petrol engines and one diesel engine. If media claims are to be believed, the business may soon launch a different, more economical entry level model that will be positioned below the present AX(O). The 2.2 litre diesel and 2.0 litre petrol engines that the business can use to power this new, more affordable model will go by the name AXE AC.
