Maruti Grand Vitara: With the all-new Grand Vitara, which should debut by the end of September 2022, Maruti Suzuki is prepared to enter the mid-size SUV market. Over 50,000 consumers have already made reservations for their units ahead of its debut, and it is currently accepting bookings.
Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Alpha, Zeta+, and Alpha+ are the six Grand Vitara models that Maruti Suzuki will offer, with pricing likely ranging from Rs 9.50 lakh to Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom). Once it is released, it will compete with vehicles like the Nissan Kicks, Toyota Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, and Kia Seltos.
Maruti Grand Vitara: Variants
The 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder gasoline engine with mild hybrid technology (103PS/137Nm) from the SUV’s K-Series lineup and the 116PS, 1.5-liter, 3-cylinder, TNGA Atkinson cycle strong-hybrid gasoline engine from Toyota will also be offered as engine options. The latter will only be offered a single-speed e-CVT automatic transmission, while the former will be offered both 5-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission options. The mild-hybrid unit’s AllGrip Select all-wheel drivetrain (AWD) will also be available on Maruti’s range-topping Zeta and Alpha models. This SUV is the most fuel-efficient in its class, achieving up to 21.11 km/l with a mild hybrid powertrain and 27.97 km/l with a strong hybrid unit.

A panoramic sunroof, a digital driver’s display, heated and ventilated front seats, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360-degree camera, a heads-up display (HUD), a wireless smartphone charger, multiple drive modes (only available on AWD variants), cruise control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, an electronic stability control system, hill assist, six airbags, and many other features are among them
