Maruti has placed a lot of money on CNG technology as the primary mainstream alternative to gasoline and diesel vehicles. The company has been attempting to entirely control the CNG vehicle market with the Alto and has now added CNG badging to even the XL6. Here’s a quick comparison with the Swift CNG hatchback from Maruti’s Arena line of automobiles.
Price comparison
Since there aren’t many options available in terms of specs and mileage, the cost can be another reason someone chooses one vehicle over another. Both of these come in two mid-trim options. These versions’ price differences range from Rs 51,000 to Rs 76,000.
Maruti Baleno vs Swift CNG Features
Both of these are jam-packed to the gills with features. But there are also some definite disparities between them. In the beginning, both of them include Alloy Wheels, a 7-inch Touchscreen Infotainment System, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 6-speaker Audio System, Automatic Climate Control, a Push-Button Start/Stop, and Height-Adjustable Driver’s Seat among other features. The Swift gets a leather-wrapped steering wheel and front fog lamps, but the Baleno boasts auto-LED headlights with a follow-me-home function, a rearview camera, and a front centre armrest.
Maruti Baleno vs Swift CNG: Verdict
Both of them have very good justifications for choosing them. First off, the Swift is a great choice if you have a limited budget but yet want the advantages of the CNG powerplant. The Baleno CNG, on the other hand, might be the best choice if you’re willing to pay a little bit more for a few extra features and a bigger cabin.
