Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara: Sources have revealed the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara costs, and as predicted, the new Grand Vitara begins at Rs. 9.5 lakh, ex-showroom. Five mild hybrid variants and two strong hybrid trims will be available from Maruti Suzuki. The new Grand Vitara will be formally unveiled by Maruti Suzuki in September during the holiday season.

The new Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will be available with two engine options: the 1.5-liter Mild and Strong Hybrid engines, calibrated to provide various amounts of power. The 1.5-liter mild hybrid, coupled to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic, produces 101 horsepower and 136 Nm of torque.
The potent hybrid engine, which is also a 1.5-liter unit, is mated to an e-CVT and produces 114 horsepower and 122 Nm of torque. The new Grand Vitara, according to Maruti Suzuki, is the most fuel-efficient SUV in the nation with a mileage of 27.9 kilometres per litre. Additionally, Maruti Suzuki will sell the new Vitara in AWD specification with a manual transmission.

An All-Grip system with four modes—Sport, Snow, Auto, and Lock—is included with the brand-new Grand Vitara. As the “Lock” mode activates permanent all-wheel-drive, these modes alternate between two- and all-wheel-drive modes. In addition, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, which is virtually the same car, is the only other SUV in its class to have an AWD system besides the 2022 Grand Vitara.
When it is introduced later this year, the Grand Vitara will go up against other models on the market including the Nissan Kicks, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq as well as the segment leader, the Hyundai Creta, as well as its brother, the Kia Seltos.
Maruti has so far received a number of reservations for the new Grand Vitara; in the first six days alone, the company recorded 13,000 reservations, of which more than half were for the potent hybrid Zeta and Alpha trims. Additionally, sources informed us that the 2022 Grand Vitara has received over 4,000 reservations just in the southern region.
