Maruti Suzuki Jimny: The Jimny was debuted by Maruti Suzuki at the Auto Expo 2023, and since then, it has been well received. The Jimny SUV’s rising popularity may be seen by the fact that reservations have surpassed 23,500 units.
To slow down the pace of bookings, Maruti Suzuki raised the Jimny’s Rs 25,000 booking minimum. In May, the business may introduce this SUV to the Indian market. It has undergone extensive testing before being delivered to India.
Coming in four variants
There will be a total of 4 variant possibilities for the Maruti Suzuki Jimny, including two trim levels, Zeta and Alpha, with both manual and automatic gearbox options. A 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine powers this 5-door SUV. When referring to Maruti Franks variations, there are Sigma, Delta, Delta +, Zeta, and Alpha. The highlights include a neckwave grille, an LED headlamp with an LED DRL, and an LED rear combo lighting.
Its engine produces 134.2 newtons of torque and 103 horsepower. Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro 4WD system, which features a low range gearbox with 2WD-High, 4WD-High, and 4WD-Low modes available, has been installed in the Maruti Suzuki Jimny SUV.
Know about the features
Off-road driving is done in 4WD-Low mode. The SUV’s features include automatic headlights, a huge 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment screen, an Arkamis music system, and compatibility with Android Auto and Apple Car.
Jimny will also come with features like headlight washer, alloy wheels, cruise control, climate control, and keyless entry. Given that its manufacturing has been limited to 7000 units per month, the waiting period for this SUV may lengthen further in the upcoming months.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny: Booking has been increasing
When Jimny made his debut, bookings began at Rs 11,000; nevertheless, as a result of this, it received more than 10,000 bookings in just 10 days. This SUV’s chassis is a ladder frame. It has room for up to five persons to sit.
Maruti Franks was also unveiled at Auto Expo 2023 at the same time, and 15,000 units have been reserved. The Heartect platform used by the business was used to build the Maruti Franks. The SUV is receiving excellent feedback.
