Method of Worship
Full time is auspicious for worshiping Lord Shiva and fasting, but it is believed that the fasting of Monthly Shivaratri should be started like done on the day of Mahashivaratri. For fasting and worship on Monthly Shivaratri, wake up before sunrise in the morning and take bath, after that go to the temple and worship Shiva family. First of all, Rudrabhishek of Shivling should be done with water, pure ghee, milk, sugar, honey, curd etc. Lord Shiva becomes very pleased with Rudrabhishek. After this, offer Belpatra, Datura and Shriphal on Shivling. After this worship with incense, lamp, fruits and flowers etc. Have fruit in the evening. Keep in mind that after this, worship Lord Shiva after 12 o’clock at night. Also recite Shri Hanuman Chalisa at the time of worship. By doing this, the financial troubles of the worshiper are removed.
