PM-KISAN 15th Installment: On November 15, Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave over 80 million farmers the 15th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana, which is valued at over ₹18,000 crore. Over ₹2.62 lakh crore has already been deposited into farmers’ accounts through the project in 14 installments. An qualifying farmer might, however, occasionally not receive the installment.
Filing Complaints through PM-KISAN Helpdesk
Farmers that experience non-receipt can file complaints through the PM-KISAN Helpdesk in order to address this. Grievances can be registered using the helpline lines 011-24300606 and 155261, or by calling the toll-free number 18001155266. Emails can also be sent to pmkisan-funds@gov.in or pmkisan-ict@gov.in. It is advisable to confirm that one’s name appears on the beneficiary list prior to filing a complaint. The steps to accomplish so are as follows:
- Access pmkisan.gov.in.
- Choose ‘Beneficiary Status’ from the ‘Farmers Corner’.
- Select the Panchayat, Sub-District, State, and District.
- Give the bank account number or Aadhaar registration number.
- Press ‘Get Data’ to see the status of your installment.
Grievance Submission via Email
People who still haven’t received their ₹2,000 15th installment can email their grievances or use the PM-KISAN Helpdesk during weekday hours to make complaints. After the reason for the delay is identified and fixed, farmers are entitled to accrued benefits if they do not receive any instalments without meeting exclusion conditions.
e-KYC Compliance Importance
Non-compliance with e-KYC standards, which the government has mandated for all PM-KISAN Yojana recipients, could be one cause of non-receipt. With three equal installments, the PM-KISAN scheme, which went into effect on December 1, 2018, seeks to give land-holding farmer households a yearly income assistance of ₹6,000. Funds are delivered directly to the bank accounts of eligible farmer families, which are identified by state governments in accordance with plan standards.
