People React to Income Tax Return Website Not Working

A lot of individuals are having problems with the income tax website as the July 31st deadline for filing income tax returns (ITR) draws near. People are venting their frustration on X.

A person wrote, “Dear @IncomeTaxIndia nahi ho rha tumse aur nahi ho raha hum se.. bolo kya karna hai.. late fees leni hi hain to batado… 31st july ke baad hi file karenge..phir to hum dono ke paas time ho time hai. Ek baar clear kar do.”

Another said, “Please extend due date. Website creating lot of problem.”

Several others were seen complaining about the issue, sharing their own experiences and calling for an extension of the deadline due to the website’s glitches.

There have been multiple requests for the government to extend the deadline due to the Income Tax portal’s persistent issues. Many taxpayers think that if there was a delay, everyone could file their ITR.
