Sharad Navratri 2021 has begun, and on 9 October devotees will observe the third day of this navratri festival, which is dedicated to Goddess Chandraghanta. She is the married form of Goddess Parvati, as, after marrying Lord Mahadev, the Goddess started adorning her forehead with a half moon and since then she is also known as Chandraghanta. According to Hindu belief, the planet Venus is ruled by Goddess Chandraghanta and those who worship her on Tritiya Tithi of Navratri get rid of all obstacles, worries, pain etc. The goddess comes upon her Savari, who is a tigress and holds important objects. She adorns the third eye on her forehead and is a symbol of bravery.

Navratri 2021 Day 3: Worship Method
Wake up early in the morning, take a bath and wear clean clothes.
Collect all the materials used in the worship of Goddess Chandraghanta like jasmine flowers, bhog etc.
Bath the Goddess and put her on new clothes.
Offer them flowers, incense sticks and do tilak.
Chant the mantra and recite the goddess.
End the worship by performing aarti.
