New factories have been announced in India, Thailand, Russia, and Romania to produce models based on the second-generation script. The engine displacement ranges from 1496 cc to 1498 cc.
The vehicle is available in Trend, Titanium+, Ambiente, Titanium, Sports, and SE trim levels. The Ford EcoSport has a boot capacity of 346 litres. It does offer split-folding back seats that split in a 60:40 ratio for extra space.

The claimed ARAI mileage is 21.7 kmpl for the Ford EcoSport Diesel and 15.9 kmpl for the Ford EcoSport Petrol. The ARAI mileage claimed for the automatic models of the Ford EcoSport Petrol is 14.7 kmpl.
