Ola S1 Pro: A recent instance that shows that Ola Electric’s troubles with the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter are not yet over, despite what you may believe. The Ola S1 Pro is reportedly experiencing a number of software and mechanical quality and dependability issues since its launch. The front suspension unit breaking was one of the most frequent problems. Here is another instance of the Ola S1 Pro’s front suspension failing that has been reported in India.
Sanjeev Jain, the owner of an Ola S1 Pro, posted the full details of the incident on Facebook within the Ola Electric Public Group group. In his post, Sanjeev brought up the problem that his Ola S1 Pro’s front suspension broke within six days after he received the electric scooter.
Front suspension unit of the S1 Pro is entirely broken.
Since there are no outward indications of any collision or accident, it appears that the suspension broke on its own or may have detached after running into a pothole or other impediment.
Ola has already drawn criticism for a number of quality-related issues
This is not the first time that a problem of this nature has been brought to light. Several owners have already posted about Ola S1 Pro issue on the internet. A S1 Pro owner from Assam reported a few months ago that his son was hurt while riding the scooter because it malfunctioned. The biker was over speeding at the moment, according to Ola Electric, who pulled off his riding data. These claims, as well as Sanjeev Jain’s post regarding his new S1 Pro, have not yet been verified.
Several additional S1 Pro users have voiced worries about difficulties other than suspension breakdown, such as software malfunctions that cause the scooter to automatically switch to reverse and accelerate more quickly than usual. A fire outbreak was also reported by an S1 Pro user from Maharashtra, and this incident received a lot of media attention online. Such quality issues are detracting from Ola Electric’s reputation as well as deterring consumers who are thinking about purchasing an electric vehicle.
A new Ola scooter is coming soon
The S1 Pro will soon be available in India thanks to work being done by Ola on a new, more inexpensive version of the device. While there aren’t many specifics yet on the new scooter, by the end of this month
Ola is also developing its own li-ion batteries. Bhavish Aggarwal, the CEO of Ola Electric, posted a picture of a Li-ion battery cell. It is the first Li-ion battery cell that the brand has produced on its own, according to Bhavish.
