How to apply for passport online?
- You must first register yourself on the Passport Seva website. Proceed to log in if you have already registered an account.
- Click “Apply for Fresh Passport/Re-issue of Passport” after that.
- Complete the application with all the requested information. After that, press Submit.
- Return to the main page now, and select View Saved/Submitted Applications.
- Click Pay and Schedule Appointment after that.
- Appointments can be made at Passport Seva Kendra.
- After choosing the choice, pay with the credit card.
- Once the procedure is finished, download the application receipt. Click Print Application Receipt to accomplish this.
- You will receive your appointment details.

Documents Require
- Proof of Current Address: Any utility bill, income tax assessment order, Election Commission photo ID, Aadhar card, rental agreement, and copy of parent’s passport serve as proof of current address. You can use any of these.
- Proof of Date of Birth: Any birth certificate, Aadhar card, voter ID card, or PAN card can be used as proof of date of birth.

The address provided by the applicant when completing the passport application is where the passport is expedited post delivered. A typical passport takes 30 to 45 days to process.
