Sirjan App: In a significant step toward improving maternal and newborn healthcare, Punjab Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh on Tuesday launched Sirjan, a digital app designed to provide healthcare providers with comprehensive support during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period. The app aims to streamline and enhance care delivery through the integration of advanced digital tools.

Launch Event Attended by Key Health Officials

The launch event was graced by the presence of National Health Mission director and Punjab special secretary (health) Ghanshyam Thori, along with director (family welfare) Dr. Jasminder and deputy director (mother and child health) Dr. Navjot. The officials emphasized the app’s role in improving healthcare accessibility and efficiency across the state.

Aiming for Better Outcomes in Maternal Health

Sirjan is expected to empower healthcare professionals by offering real-time guidance, better data management, and enhanced decision-making capabilities. This initiative reflects Punjab's commitment to addressing maternal and newborn health challenges, reducing mortality rates, and ensuring better health outcomes for mothers and children.
