Punjab News: In a landmark operation, Ludhiana Police, with the assistance of Assam Police, successfully cracked an inter-state cyber fraud gang, arresting two individuals from Guwahati. Seven additional individuals have been nominated in connection with the case. This operation led to the largest-ever recovery in India’s cybercrime history, totaling ₹5.25 crore, as per I4C data. Authorities also seized ATM cards and mobile phones involved in the fraudulent activities.
