Rajasthan CET Exam: The Rajasthan Staff Selection Commission (RSMSSB) has announced the dates for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for graduate-level candidates. The CET exam is scheduled to be held on 27th and 28th September 2024. The examination will cover recruitment for 12 different positions through a single, combined test. In light of recent issues with dummy candidates in other exams, special measures have been put in place to prevent and catch such candidates during this exam.
Around 1.3 million candidates from across Rajasthan are expected to appear for the CET
Around 1.3 million candidates from across Rajasthan are expected to appear for the CET. To tackle the challenge of dummy candidates, the commission has implemented a unique identification process. During the application phase, live photographs and handwriting samples were collected from candidates. These will be cross-checked during the exam to ensure authenticity.
Special Procedures Implemented
To ensure the identification process is foolproof, the commission will cross-check candidates’ live photographs and signatures against those submitted during the application process. The exam will be held across 25 districts in Rajasthan, with four sessions taking place over two days.
Given the scale of the exam and the large number of candidates, RSMSSB has emphasized that the live photo and handwriting verification method will help prevent impersonation. Only after matching the applicant’s live photograph and admit card photo will the candidate be allowed to enter the examination center.
The CET is an important exam for many aspiring candidates, and these measures are expected to ensure a fair and transparent process.
