After getting relief from the Haryana government in the DLF land deal case, the first reaction of Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s husband Robert Vadra has come to the fore. He has shared a long post on the social media platform Facebook and said that he is happy to see a ray of hope. In fact, the Haryana government has said in the High Court that there was nothing wrong with the land deal.
Regarding this, Robert Vadra said, “I have always worked with honesty. I have moved forward with hard work and time… But BJP’s false allegations never stopped.” In fact, during the 2014 elections, the BJP had made Robert Vadra’s DLF land deal a major election issue. There was a lot of rhetoric between the BJP and the Congress regarding this.
Let’s know what Robert Vadra said?
Vadra further wrote in his post, “Their agencies raided my companies, even broke down walls. Believing that things are hidden in it. They interrogated me for days, sent hundreds of notices, even demanded illegal taxes…They will attach my properties and belongings, take more than 20 thousand documents and keep sending tax notice after notice for more than a decade. Even after I know the truth, I continue to fully cooperate and give all the information asked of me.”
Along with writing this post, Robert Vadra has also shared screenshots of several media articles
In the same post, he further wrote, “We have always followed the legal way of doing business and paying all taxes. I am happy to see the Haryana government’s report to the court as a ray of hope that no wrongdoing happened in my business dealings.”
He added hopefully, “It has been many years of dealing with false accusations and losing many work relationships and running the government’s misinformation and media propaganda. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else now. The vindictive way of politics is poisonous to the country.”
