Saumya Sinha, a 17 year old living in Mumbai, is a poetic soul. While she is currently pursuing science, she has always had a strong passion for arts. Writing poem is her way of escapism and self expression and she always tried to write something that is relatable to everyone.
“You are what you love
No wonder I feel slaughtered
But I am trying to be sober
At least until this is all over
I will bloom in the perpetuity
More than I can ever in the reality
Or maybe it’s just me creating an illusion
But it looks better than the awareness of being inhuman
Here everyone just pretends to be sympathetic
Just so they can deceit themselves as not pathetic
I’ll be alive in the room that’s much brighter
Till then u can act around a corpse that’s burning on a lighter”
“The cold times arise
After all the war subside
Everyone has accepted the outcome
Faces and hearts all become numb
Now no one speaks
Now no one crys
Now no one dreams
Now no one tries
Falling into an empty land
Where nothing moves and no one demands
Eyes looking into the distant sky
Breath fighting soo hard not to die
Should I start to say the last goodbyes?
Now that I am starting to fly”
“Now that you’re already over
And that your touch has gone a little too further
You’ll see that the ones who cared weren’t too many
Or hardly any
None saw the way your tears trickle off
The ones who did believed it as something rough
But even if it was caused by something unbroken
Several harmless winds can cause an erosion
So keep as long as you can your conversations endless
Small gestures never go helpless”
“Cause the stars said so
They showed how everything glow
Things get chilly
Times get numb
But these circumstances will make your shine come
Every so often life feels like a desert
Or at times a gloomy wetland
But this is where foolish mortals fails to understand
That they are thriving under the universes wonderland
Embrace your darkness as light can be seen only in the dark
Never feel alone as your story is awaited by million of stars“
