Former Congress Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Wednesday for monitoring and treatment of respiratory infection. The doctors gave this information. The chairman of the board of management of the hospital, Dr Ajay Swaroop told that Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to the Chest Medicine Department. She is being looked after by Dr. Arup Basu and his team.
According to a bulletin of the hospital, Sonia Gandhi has a complaint of viral respiratory infection. which is being treated. Former Congress Sonia Gandhi was last seen in public on December 28, 2022, on Congress Foundation Day. Earlier, she participated in Bharat Jodo Yatra in Delhi on 24 December.
Rahul-Priyanka returned to Delhi due to health
Former Congress President Sonia Gandhi was admitted to the hospital on the morning of Wednesday 4 January for a routine medical checkup. Congress sources had told that Sonia Gandhi’s daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was present with her at the time of her hospitalization. Sources told that Sonia Gandhi has been suffering from respiratory infection. Her health was slightly worse than a day earlier, due to which Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi returned to Delhi on Tuesday (January 3) evening after walking seven kilometers to enter ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ in Uttar Pradesh.
Congress’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ started again from Mavi Kalan in Baghpat at 6 am today. Although Priyanka Gandhi did not join the padyatra with Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday morning. After Sonia’s health recovers, Priyanka can once again join the ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra in UP.
