Keeping in mind the facilities of the customers, Indian banks keep announcing one day or the other. Now the country’s largest government bank State Bank of India (SBI) has also introduced a special facility. The bank has launched a website ‘SBI Pension Service’ for pensioners holding pension accounts.
It is worth mentioning that SBI is the largest pension paying bank in India, serving approx. 54 lakhs pensioners across the country. SBI has collaborated with Central Govt agencies (Defence, Railways, Postal, Telecom, Civil), State Govt. departments and numerous autonomous bodies for pension processing.
How to operate SBI Pension Seva website:
Firstly, customers need to generate user-id.
To generate id, enter your pension account number.
Put in your date of birth (DOB).
Enter the Branch code of pension paying branch.
Your email id same as acknowledged to the branch.
Enter a new password, then finalize the password.
On successful registration, a mail would be sent to the registered email where a link will be available for account activation. After activation, a pensioner can log in through his registered ID/Password.
